More Finished Objects Here
I did finish the items I was working on Wednesday. But since none of my recipients have, well, received them, I still cannot show them. It will probably go up the week after New Years, since I am giving the last one to my MIL on the Friday just before New Years. I’ll tell you what, I’ll take pictures and write the post tomorrow and schedule it for the Friday after New Years. Then you’ll know when to look.
But I’m sure you want to see some sort of finished object. I mean that is why you came here. So I present my wagon pulling mitt, also known as my fiddlehead mitt. One is now completely finished! The other is on hold until Boxing Day (the day after Christmas). See, I can wear a fully lined mitt, and I can wear an unlined mitt but I cannot wear a half lined mitt. I know, I tried. The yarn keeps falling out of my pocket and the needles get in the way. Since I will be needing my wagon pulling mitts for, um, wagon pulling (hence the name), I figured I’d wait until I had a solid block to work on them. And on Boxing Day I am meeting friends for mimosas, brunch (catered by our hostess’ husband) and knitting.

Wagon Pulling Mittens
In the meanwhile I will be knitting Semele for Mom. I just had a beerglass full of wine (oops) and a gin and tonic. Knitting knitted lace should be no problem right?
